Idea Bob ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Master 22 Solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you use ideabob.com and related services.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and authentication identifiers (e.g., Google OAuth ID).
  • Idea content: idea names, descriptions, notes, scores, and related research you submit.
  • Usage data: feature interactions, AI requests, credits consumed, and timestamps.
  • Billing data: processed by Stripe; we never store full card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, referrer, and cookies.

3. How we use your data

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Idea Bob service.
  • Run AI scoring, validation, and research on the content you submit.
  • Process payments, manage subscriptions, and track credit usage.
  • Send transactional emails (account, billing, security notices).
  • Detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service.

4. AI processing

When you use AI features, the content you submit (idea name, description, target market, etc.) is sent to third-party AI providers (e.g., Google Gemini, OpenAI) via the Lovable AI Gateway for processing. These providers process the content under their own terms and do not use it to train models on your behalf.

5. Sharing & sub-processors

We share data only with vendors that help us operate the service:

  • Supabase: database, authentication, storage, edge functions.
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • Lovable AI Gateway / Google / OpenAI: AI inference.
  • Firecrawl: web scraping for market research.
  • Resend: transactional email delivery.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Public ideas

Ideas you choose to mark as public (via the Gallery toggle) become visible to anyone, including unauthenticated visitors. Do not publish anything you consider confidential.

7. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. You may delete your ideas and account at any time. Backups and audit logs may persist for up to 90 days after deletion.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at privacy@master22solutions.com to exercise these rights.

9. Security

We use industry-standard practices: TLS in transit, encryption at rest, Row-Level Security on all user data, private storage buckets with signed URLs, and audit logging.

10. Children

Idea Bob is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
